Once out of the tunnel, one would pass through a heavily-vegetated valley. Then, at Shoreline Road, we are proposing a raised intersection to slow down traffic and ensure pedestrian safety. Following that, one arrives at a sloped plaza extending to the water’s edge, with ADA ramps and vegetation embedded within it.To the west of the plaza we propose a restaurant or set of restaurants in proximity to where Silky’s restaurant is currently located.To the east, we are proposing a path down to the marina, with limited access to cars.There would be a fishing pier at the eastern end of the marina, where the water is most oxygenated.The Mosites easement through the DPW lot provides additional value to the lot by providing public ROW frontage, access to the road and utilities that the lot would otherwise not have.
